Compass Distillers is proudly raising our glasses with a 100% Nova Scotian grown rye whisky. This whisky features Annapolis Valley grown grain, that has been milled, mashed, and fermented in our Halifax distillery. It was then twice distilled in Tess, our Vendome still.
This whisky was aged 7 years in a virgin oak barrel with a #2 char, in the Halifax Citadel National Park.
Tasting notes: the palate reveals a lively peppery kick, complemented by hints of pear and fresh pastry, balanced with earthy spice notes.
More than a whisky, this is a true taste of Nova Scotia captured in a bottle.
