Compass Distillers is proudly raising our Elbows Up, with our Made in Canada corn whisky. This whisky features a corn forward grain bill of Canadian grown grains, that has been milled, mashed, and fermented in our Halifax distillery. It was then twice distilled in Tess, our Vendome still - she was built in Louisville Kentucky but has been in Halifax since she was made so she's a Canadian citizen now.
Aged in virgin oak barrels, this whisky offers all the bold characteristics of bourbon while having true Canadian roots. The nose greets you with a rich bouquet of sweet corn and charred oak, complemented by hints of honey and leather.
